- due to the lanolin it contains, it is water resistant
- neck and hood area lined with bio-cotton, to prevent scratching
- cover at the zip
- knits on the sleeves to prevent blowing anywhere
- the jacket is better to ventilate only, if more dirty can be washed in a detergent designed for washing wool
